Earth Day Special & Tomato-Garlic Chutney

Sorry... It's been a long time since I have posted anything... Very busy at work with the tax filing deadline.. yes you guessed it right - I am an accountant by profession... a CPA... :)

Today is the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day!!! The newspaper, websites, and highlighted articles are all focusing on how to go green.. .how to save earth... how to contribute or give back to earth... I came across two very valuable and informative website - and Check them out and see how you can go green...

Also, I would like to know how you guys have been recycling.. or how green you are... different ways that you use to contribute to earth and environment... please feel free to leave your comments... I am still trying to figure out how green I am... ?!?!?!?!

Well anyways... the weather has been great in Boston... and Spring is definitely here... you can see it on the streets when you go out.. it's sunny, people are out, restaurants are full, and everyone is smiling and the trees are all colorful!!!!!! Here are some snaps that I got for you guys...



Tomato-Garlic Chutney

  1. Medium tomato
  2. 2 medium cloves of garlic
  3. Salt per taste
  4. Red chili powder - a pinch
  5. One tblsp oil
  6. Cumin seeds - a pinch
  7. Mustard seeds - a pinch
  8. 2 curry leaves
  9. Fresh chopped coriander
  1. Grind tomato and garlic
  2. Add in salt and red chili powder and keep aside
  3. Heat oil in a small wok
  4. Add in cumin seed, mustard seed and curry leaves
  5. Once the seeds splutter - add it to the tomato-garlic paste
  6. Garnish with coriander and serve hot or cold.
